Chris and I got married in 2002, and have been doing youth ministry together ever since! I felt called to Austin, and moved here in 2007 to start my family and ministry in Texas! Starting my career as an educator in 2002, I felt a deep passion and calling to invest in the next generation and share the life changing reality of Jesus Christ. I’ve had the pleasure of serving in many roles in Nineveh, from Event Coordinator to sharing the gospel with teens in detention. God has allowed me to meet and be encouraged by so many teens within the ministry, that I truly feel blessed that I am allowed to serve these amazing kids through Nineveh Ministries.

As a former inmate in the Federal Correctional System, I have a special place in my heart for prison ministry. That place is occupied with the resolve to give those who are incarcerated the life changing reality of Jesus Christ. I know first hand what that reality can do to free a person. When Nineveh presented me with the opportunity to do that for the youth in our area, I jumped at the chance. I love to teach, I am passionate about Jesus, and am excited for the opportunity to put those two things together to help the juvenile offender in our area become free indeed.Eddie@ninevehministries.com

As a former drug dealer/addict I know what its like to feel hopeless and trapped. Since being saved, I have worked with many organizations, including APD, to help reach my community for Jesus. Giving them hope where there was none. When I was asked to speak at a Jail 2 Jobs program that Nineveh was doing, I was more than happy to help. I realized that both of us were working on the same problem. How to get God into the hearts of the kids who needed it most. So I was excited to join the team. I can’t wait to see what God will do next.

God has blessed me with my husband, Bryan, and three amazing children. Throughout my career, I’ve worked at large corporations, several non-profits and my local church office. I have a huge heart for our youth and nothing has been more rewarding than serving the Lord through student ministry. It’s a privilege to be a part of Nineveh and to see the lives of our teens being transformed by the truth of Jesus Christ.Lara@ninevehministries.com

Born and raised in the Texas Panhandle, I have called Austin home since 2000. My husband and I have been married since 2008 and have been blessed with two wonderful kiddos. A chance meeting at my son’s karate class led me to the Boots & Bling event, Chris and Kim, and finally to Nineveh. I have over 10 years experience in sales, marketing, event planning, and fundraising and am thrilled to be able to use my talents to serve the the Lord through Nineveh Ministries.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, in his virgin birth, in his sinless life, in his death on the cross, in his bodily resurrection, in his ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in his personal return. We believe people receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life through a relationship with Jesus.

Core Values

    • We believe that spiritual issues supercede and often drive physical, emotional, psychological, and relational issues; although the latter are still valid.
    • We believe that money and resouhttp://ninevehministries.comrces are helpful, but not mandatory to do ministry.
    • We believe that partnerships are vital because they bring a balance of ideas, philosophies, and gifting. They also include a broader range of the body of Christ.
    • Integrity is vital. We work, use resources, and follow up as though we were working directly for God. As a result, we are an open book to all men.
